The Challenge

Alys Beach, the celebrated Gulf Coast community known for its white Bermuda-style architecture, was marking twenty years since its founding. The challenge was capturing two decades of growth and community life in a single film without losing the intimate, human feel that has always set the brand apart.

The Approach

Ninety Nine Natives produced “Twenty Years of Life Defined,” a documentary-style anniversary film that pairs sweeping aerial footage of the town’s iconic architecture with quiet, personal moments from the people who live and work there, letting the community’s own voice carry the story.

The Result

The film went on to win Platinum at the 2025 AVA Digital Awards and Gold at the 2025 MUSE Creative Awards, recognition that reflects both the strength of the storytelling and the twenty years of community it was made to honor.
